What our studies focus on

We run studies with pharmaceutical and medical device companies that are building innovative treatments for patients within a wide range of health conditions.

Right now, most of our studies focus on people with experience in:

  • Weight management, including GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, or Zepbound

  • Diabetes (type 1, type 2, LADA)

  • Heart disease

  • Kidney disease

  • Sleep apnea

  • Fatty liver disease / MASH

ONLINE SURVEYS & REMOTE STUDIES

Earn up to $75 per hour

Earn up to $75/hour for online studies, which come in a few formats, such as:

  • Surveys take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour.

  • Interviews are one-on-one, with a researcher walking you through the questions by phone or video.

  • Focus groups bring you together with other members on a video call to share feedback.

Thrivable qualitative studies

IN-PERSON & IN-HOME PRODUCT TESTING

Earn up to $2,000+ per study

Join an in-person or in-home study and you could earn as much as $2,000 for testing new products before they launch and sharing your feedback.

These studies usually have more specific requirements. If one looks like a fit, we’ll send you a short questionnaire to see if you qualify. It’ll cover details like the devices or treatments you use and where you live.

We may also invite you to clinical trials that match your profile. Each invitation explains what the trial involves, so you can decide if it’s right for you.

Here’s what to know about joining Thrivable, how studies work, and how we protect your information.

Thrivable is a US-based company that helps shape the future of healthcare. We work with some of the world’s largest healthcare companies as they develop solutions for weight management, diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, sleep apnea, and more. When you take part in a study, your experiences help guide those decisions, and you get paid for your time, up to $75/hour for online studies.

If you have health experiences to share, you’re welcome to join. That includes people living with diabetes, obesity or another condition, people taking or considering a medication like a GLP-1, and caregivers. If you’re under 18, a parent or legal guardian will need to register for you.

Before being eligible to receive surveys, you must create your profile, which takes approximately 10 minutes. The information you enter will determine your eligibility to participate in future research studies.

Yes. We take our member's privacy seriously. All personal information captured is secured in a cloud environment with bank-level encryption and access restrictions, all survey responses are submitted anonymously, and Thrivable will never sell your information to a third party without consent. When you complete a survey, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Research Consent Policy. 

When a study matches your profile, we’ll send you an invite by email or text with what it involves and how much it pays. Participation is optional, and you'll receive an incentive each time you complete a study. 

It varies based on when your information matches the criteria for a study. Some members receive multiple invitations to participate in a study each month, while others may get 3 to 4 invitations each year. If you recently became a member, you may not receive an invitation for up to 8 to 12 weeks.

It depends on the study, but you’ll usually share things like your health experiences, the medications or products you use, and your opinions on new ideas. Most studies are online surveys, while others are interviews, focus groups, or product testing, and we may also invite you to clinical trials that match your profile. Every invitation explains what the study involves and how much it pays before you decide to join.
