Qualifications:
- Diagnosed with type 1 diabetes
- 12 years old or younger. Participants require the co-participation of an adult caregiver
- On an insulin pump or multiple daily injections (MDI)
- Willing to travel to the study venue for a 2-hour, in-person non-interventional research study. You will be asked to provide feedback that will help guide the development of a new medical product

What is a Thrivable Member?

Is Thrivable a scam?
No. Thrivable is a United States based company whose goal is to help shape the future of patient-centered care. We work with some of the largest healthcare companies in the world, developing solutions for diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, mental health, arthritis, and other conditions. By participating in our research activities, you provide insights to these companies and influence the future of patient care. To sweeten the deal, each time you participate in a study you will be financially incentivized, up to $75 per hour.
Am I eligible to become a Thrivable member?
If you live with, or live with someone, with diabetes you are eligible to sign up. If you are under age 18, you will need a parent or legal guardian to register on your behalf.
How do I become a Thrivable member and begin to receive surveys?
Before being eligible to receive surveys, you must complete our screener, which takes approximately 10 minutes. The information you submit in the screener survey will determine if you are eligible to participate in future research studies.

Is the information I share with Thrivable stored securely and is my identity protected?
Yes. We take our member's privacy seriously. All personal information captured is secured in a cloud environment with bank-level encryption and access restrictions, all survey responses are submitted anonymously, and Thrivable will never sell your information to a third party without consent. When you complete the any survey, you agree to our Privacy Policy and Research Consent Policy.
How do I get earn money?
You will receive an email invitation to participate in a study whenever the information we have on file for you matches the criteria outlined for the research project. The invitation will always include the nature of the study and the compensation before agreeing to participate. Each time you do choose to participate in a study you will be financially incentivized, up to $75 per hour, in the form of points. Once you accumulate enough points you can swap them out for a prepaid or gift card.
How often will I receive opportunities to participate in research studies?
It varies based on when your information matches the criteria for a study. Some members receive multiple invitations to participate in a study each month, while others may get 3 to 4 invitations each year. If you recently became a member, you may not receive an invitation for up to 8 to 12 weeks.
What types of information would I be asked to share for a study?
Prior to agreeing to participate in a study, you will be sent an email invitation which will include the nature of the study and the compensation. The majority of studies will require you to complete a survey, however some studies will be in the form of focus groups or one on one interviews to allow you to share your story, insights, and perspectives. Information captured during the study will be used to help companies that design, develop, and deliver new healthcare products, services, and technologies.
