Despite the widespread popularity of GLP-1 medications in the U.S., nearly three in four diabetes patients stop treatment within a year. While most research focuses on claims data and discontinuation rates, the patient experience behind long-term adherence remains under-explored. To better understand this, Thrivable collected 3,500 open-ended audio responses from 591 people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes using GLP-1s. The findings revealed that patients often succeed despite the healthcare system, not because of it.

Want to dive deeper into the findings?

Join us on Wednesday, June 17 at 12 p.m. ET for a webinar hosted by Sara Epstein, Product Director at Thrivable. The session will also feature Maria Muccioli, our Research Director, along with a member of the Thrivable patient panel and an experienced clinician. We’ll share the full speaker lineup soon!

Together, they’ll explore key insights from the study and discuss:

* How GLP-1s are shaping patient confidence and sense of control in diabetes management
* The mental health impact of GLP-1 use, with perspectives from patients, HCPs, and researchers
